Adrift

I miss you, but not enough to crack open my skull again and step outside of my body and watch you creep inside

Like a vermin and brawl, you decided to crawl
Around the leaky corners where I once held sanity
And rip membranes and floaters apart

You set adrift under my heart
And I didn’t want to admit that you had me deeper
But not as the ocean
But a wave here or there
